Which order to take the AI courses?

AI Curriculum

This is the most common question I get!

Short answer: it honestly doesn’t matter! All my courses are designed to be complementary; you should pick the topics that most interest you.

But all things being equal: the most natural way to take them is in the order they are listed here, in my full AI curriculum:

  1. I am struggling to keep up with the trends of AI. How do you keep up with the trend? I recently discovered about a2a but it’s already more than 2 months old. So how do you stay updated?

    1. Hey Syed! I would say one of the essential skills to develop is an instinct for how to filter the real news from the noise. And there’s a lot of noise.

A2A is a great case-in-point. It’s been massively hyped by Google, starting with the splashy announcement. But at least as of now, it hasn’t taken off in the way that MCP has. It doesn’t have such a compelling commercial need, and (aside from all the hype) I’m not reading much about it in the community.

So at least for now – focus on MCP; filter out A2A.

Remember when everyone was only talking about Janus? That seems to have faded. Even DeepSeek may have had its moment. But Claude Code – that’s worth paying attention to.

If you develop a good instinct for what’s worth your attention, then the news doesn’t seem so overwhelming.
Oh – and I listen to great podcasts: SuperDataScience and Last Week in AI!

  2. well I guess I can leave a reply here but what I’m wondering is I’m on Core Track. With this certificate and knowledge to make a decent project, would I able to qualify for an interview?
